Everything we make is built for indoors: kiln-dried hardwood frames, hardwax-oiled timber and upholstery that does not want weather. A covered verandah out of the rain and the western sun is as far outside as any of it should go. If you want a piece to live properly outdoors, tell us and we will point you somewhere honest.

Can I use this furniture outside?
No — everything we make is built for indoors. A covered verandah, out of the rain and the western sun, is as far outside as any of it should go. Left in weather, an oiled top will grey and lift and an upholstered piece will hold damp.
What about a sunroom or a covered deck?
Both are fine if the piece stays dry. Keep timber out of direct afternoon sun, which fades a finish unevenly, and re-oil once a year rather than every second year. Bring cushions in when the weather turns.
Do you make an outdoor range?
Not yet. When we do it will be because we have found a timber and a fabric that survive an Australian summer honestly, rather than because there was a gap in the catalogue.
Do you deliver to all states in Australia?
Yes. Everything ships from our Melbourne warehouse, and delivery is calculated per shipment at checkout — it depends on the size of the piece and how far it is going. Orders over $1,500 travel free by white-glove courier, who will carry it in, place it in the room and take the packaging away.
What is the warranty and return policy?
Every frame carries a ten-year guarantee, and fabrics and finishes are covered for two years against manufacturing faults. If a piece is not right, you have thirty days from delivery to send it back for a refund, as long as it is in the condition it arrived in.
